The Preferences dialog, Mobile page, enables you to set the default size of the visual editor to give you an approximation of how the components fit on a mobile device screen.

Selecting a default screen size provides a visual aid when creating views for mobile devices; it does not affect the runtime behavior of the application. Views would typically adjust to the viewport size of the device when they are displayed.
