Oracle Announces Oracle PartnerNetwork Specialized

Oracle is launching the next innovation of its partner program to better support partners and help them differentiate themselves. In the new program, Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Specialized, partners can now focus on the product solutions that best support their business. There are four levels in the new program, and as partners take advantage of training offered through the OPN Competency Center, they become specialized and can move to higher levels.

The basic partner level, Remarketer, is for partners that want to sell Oracle technology products—with no initial investment—to midsize companies. Remarketers can advance to the Silver level, which provides discounts on Oracle University offerings, development licenses, greater support options, and 1-Click Resell Rights. Silver partners can advance to the Gold level, which offers greater access to Oracle partner resources, enhanced Oracle University and support offerings, and expanded resell rights. Specialization is available at the Gold level, and after the partner has specialized in five products, it can join the top partner level, Platinum, which includes access to market development funds, channel account management, and joint marketing opportunities.
