Countdown to Oracle OpenWorld, JavaOne, and Oracle Develop

Get ready to dive deep into technology, September 19-23.

By now you are gearing up for the feast of Oracle and Java technology offerings that await you in San Francisco, California, as the city opens its streets to Oracle OpenWorld, JavaOne, and Oracle Develop September 19 through 23. Here’s a look at 10 not-to-be missed technology offerings during the week.


1 MySQL Sunday

Sunday, September 19, 12:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
San Francisco Marriott Marquis
Oracle is rolling out the welcome mat for the MySQL community with a half-day technical conference jam-packed with the latest on MySQL, the world’s most popular open source database. Get up to speed on the latest MySQL technical innovations and hear what’s new and what’s next from Edward Screven, chief corporate architect at Oracle, at the MySQL Fireside Chat general session.



2 JavaOne

The Zone (San Francisco’s Hotel Nikko, Hilton San Francisco Union Square, and Parc 55 hotels, and the surrounding area)
JavaOne offers education, practical hands-on sessions, and Java DEMOgrounds exclusively geared toward the Java developer community. Two JavaOne highlights are the Java User Group Forum (Sunday, September 19) and the JavaOne General Session (Tuesday, September 21, at 8:00 a.m.).

The Zone
