Oracle Partners Achieve Gold-Level StatusTwo members of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) have achieved OPN Specialized status for Oracle Database Appliance. Three Oracle partners—Globalization Partners International, Integware, and Windward—have achieved Oracle Gold Partner status. Oracle Gold Partner status enables these partners to develop Oracle PartnerNetwork specializations; makes them eligible to resell Oracle Applications and industry solutions; and gives them access to Oracle account representatives, My Oracle Support updates, and other services. Globalization Partners International provides translation services for Oracle RightNow CX Cloud Service customers, as well as comprehensive document, software, and Website translation offerings. Its translation services encompass all components of Web customer service, including self-service knowledgebases, e-mail response management, Web chat, virtual assistants, and SMS mobile customer service. Windward creates reporting, document generation, and business intelligence software. Its reporting tool for Oracle solutions makes report and document creation a simple three-step process that can be performed by any end user of Microsoft Office applications. Original equipment manufacturers and value-added resellers also use and resell Windward’s reporting tools, which can be used to create financial statements, inventory reports, product-usage reports, purchase orders, invoices, training certificates, timesheets, licenses, and compliance reports. The updated Oracle Enterprise Manager knowledge zone is a private online Oracle partner community featuring discussions about partner opportunities, go-to-market suggestions, and OPN program and portal topics. The enhanced Oracle Enterprise Manager extensibility kit collects tools, utilities, and documentation, including reference implementations, build-time tools for validating Oracle Enterprise Manager extensibility, and tools for validating and packaging plug-in code components. Both Infosys and Wipro are engaged in the design, build, and test phases of the project, and both companies have undergone training on the tools and methodologies that facilitate migration. The work to develop a comprehensive, low-risk path from PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion Applications is being conducted across human capital management, financials, and procurement applications, and applies to deployments in both software-as-a-service and on-premises environments.
