Oracle Partners Achieve Gold-Level Status
Two members of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) have achieved OPN Specialized status for Oracle Database Appliance.
Three Oracle partners—Globalization Partners International, Integware, and Windward—have achieved Oracle Gold Partner status. Oracle Gold Partner status enables these partners to develop Oracle PartnerNetwork specializations; makes them eligible to resell Oracle Applications and industry solutions; and gives them access to Oracle account representatives, My Oracle Support updates, and other services.
Globalization Partners International provides translation services for Oracle RightNow CX Cloud Service customers, as well as comprehensive document, software, and Website translation offerings. Its translation services encompass all components of Web customer service, including self-service knowledgebases, e-mail response management, Web chat, virtual assistants, and SMS mobile customer service.
Integware, a provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) services and solutions for regulated industries, delivers solutions that satisfy good-quality practices in compliance with worldwide regulatory standards for manufacturers. During its more than 18 years in business, Integware has established Oracle-related knowledge; developed a deep understanding of PLM software, processes, and industry standards; and created best practices that are leveraged across all industry segments.
Windward creates reporting, document generation, and business intelligence software. Its reporting tool for Oracle solutions makes report and document creation a simple three-step process that can be performed by any end user of Microsoft Office applications. Original equipment manufacturers and value-added resellers also use and resell Windward’s reporting tools, which can be used to create financial statements, inventory reports, product-usage reports, purchase orders, invoices, training certificates, timesheets, licenses, and compliance reports.
Oracle has enhanced its partner tools and programs related to Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c. These updates can help Oracle partners accelerate their customers’ transition to private and public clouds. The new tools and programs include a new Oracle Enterprise Manager extensibility exchange, an updated Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Oracle Enterprise Manager knowledge zone, and Oracle Enterprise Manager extensibility kit resources.
The new Oracle Enterprise Manager extensibility exchange provides a central place where partners can share extensions for Oracle Enterprise Manager’s heterogeneous management ecosystem, such as management plug-ins, management connectors, deployment procedures, and data masking templates. The updated Oracle Enterprise Manager knowledge zone is a private online Oracle partner community featuring discussions about partner opportunities, go-to-market suggestions, and OPN program and portal topics. The enhanced Oracle Enterprise Manager extensibility kit collects tools, utilities, and documentation, including reference implementations, build-time tools for validating Oracle Enterprise Manager extensibility, and tools for validating and packaging plug-in code components.
Infosys and Wipro, both Oracle Diamond Partners, are working with Oracle to develop solutions aimed at users of Oracle’s PeopleSoft applications who want to migrate to Oracle Fusion Applications. The work will also benefit customers that want to adopt a coexistence model (one that uses both PeopleSoft and Oracle Fusion Applications), as well as customers that continue to use only PeopleSoft applications.
Both Infosys and Wipro are engaged in the design, build, and test phases of the project, and both companies have undergone training on the tools and methodologies that facilitate migration. The work to develop a comprehensive, low-risk path from PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion Applications is being conducted across human capital management, financials, and procurement applications, and applies to deployments in both software-as-a-service and on-premises environments.
Oracle has unveiled new partner programs, specializations, and services designed to help Oracle partners meet customer demand for public, private, and hybrid cloud solutions.
The new Oracle Cloud Referral program enables any Oracle PartnerNetwork member to receive compensation for referring Oracle Cloud business to Oracle. The Oracle Cloud specialization, which was created in conjunction with Oracle’s development and consulting groups, enables partners to deliver their own rapid-start, fixed-scope implementation offerings that get customers onto Oracle Cloud. The new Oracle Cloud Builder specialization provides partners who sell and implement Oracle hardware and software offerings with expertise, tools, and training related to building private clouds.
The Oracle Cloud Resale program allows qualifying Specialized partners to resell Oracle Cloud services and create a sustainable revenue stream over the lifetime of a customer’s Oracle Cloud subscription. Finally, the new Oracle Platform Services for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) lets ISVs leverage Oracle Cloud’s secure, flexible architecture to build and deploy new applications or extend existing on-premises offerings without additional infrastructure and platform investments.

These new specializations join eVerge Group’s existing specializations in Oracle’s Siebel CRM, Oracle CRM On Demand, Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation, Oracle Business Intelligence Applications, Oracle’s PeopleSoft Human Capital Management, Oracle’s PeopleSoft PeopleTools, Oil and Gas, Public Sector, and Education and Research.
