Web Services for Remote Portlet 2.0 Beta Software Release Notes

The Web Services for Remote Portlet (WSRP) 2.0 Beta software is available as an application server extension when you install the Java Application Platform SDK Update 6 software.

System Requirements

The WSRP 2.0 Beta Software is an add-on to the Java Application Platform SDK Update 6 software. Here is the list of software components required to work with WSRP 2.0 Beta:

• Sun Java System Application Server 9.1: Refer to the Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 Update 1 - 9.1 Update 2 Release Notes for information on technical requirements and supported platforms.
• Portlet Container 2.0 Update 1: Refer to the Portlet Container 2.0 Update 1 Software Release Notes for information on technical requirements and installation instructions.

Configuration Information

The user name and password for WSRP 2.0 Beta software is the same as the user name and password for your Sun Java System Application Server 9.1.

Known Issues

• WSRP 2.0 Beta software does not support Sun Java System Application Server in a clustered environment.
