A broad range of support services is available for the Java Device Test Suite, including product upgrades, new features and enhancements, new test suites, on-site support that can be applied toward installation, configuration, training, technical consultation, and test development. Developers can take advantage of two weeks of on-site support per year, technical assistance by phone and e-mail, and technical information on the Web.

A three-year subscription to the Java Device Test Suite includes:

  • All updates, upgrades, new test packs
  • 10-days of on-site support per year
  • Email/phone support
  • Per-site license (company campus = a site)

Optional services, at additional cost, include:

  • Device Testing service - Sun offers a JDTS testing service in which the tests are executed by the Sun engineering team; this service is available for JDTS licensees and non-licensees alike.
  • Customizable Java requirement document (JRD)
