Overview
This tutorial covers migrating classic Financial Management applications to Performance Management Architect and viewing the migrated applications in Performance Management Architect.
Scenario
Your company created a classic Financial Management application named Training1 and asks you to migrate it to the Performance Management Architect.
Prerequisites
Before starting this tutorial, you should:
| 1. | Have access to or have installed Oracle® Hyperion Financial Management, Fusion Edition 11.1.1.0.0 |
| 2. | Have access to or have created a classic application (Training1 is used for this tutorial.) |
Migrating Classic Financial Management Applications to Performance Management Architect
You migrate classic Financial Management applications by logging on to Workspace and upgrading the application.
1. | On your desktop, perform the following actions: a. Double-click the Workspace icon. b. Enter user name trnadmin and password hyperion. c. Click Log On to log on to Workspace.

2. | In Workspace, select Navigate > Administer > Application Upgrade.
The Application Upgrade Wizard is displayed. |
| 3. | Click Next.
The Application Summary page displays a list of applications, including the applications that can be upgraded.
|
| 4. | Click Next.
The Application Selection page is displayed.
|
| 5. | Under Upgradeable Application, select TRAINING1, and click the right arrow button.
The Training1 application is displayed in the Application To Upgrade area.
|
| 6. | Click Next.
The Upgrade Summary page displays the Training1 application.
|
| 7. | Click Finish to start the Upgrade process.
The upgrade progress is displayed in the Jobs Console.
|
| 8. | Verify that the upgrade progress was completed successfully, and click the Upgrade Log link.
|
| 9. | Review the upgrade log for errors.
You have successfully upgraded the application.

Viewing Migrated Financial Management Applications in Performance Management Architect
After upgrading the application, you view it in Performance Management Architect to confirm that the application was migrated successfully.
| 1. | Select Navigate > Administer > Application Library.
|
| 2. | Verify that you can view the Training1 application in the Application Library. Note: You may have to select View > Refresh to view the application.
You have successfully migrated a classic Financial Management application to Performance Management Architect. You can now deploy the rules.
