Oracle TopLink: JPA Certification

Oracle TopLink's JPA implementation is provided through the inclusion of the open source reference implementation of JPA. This was initially accomplished through the inclusion of TopLink Essentials which was later replaced with EclipseLink. This page documents the certified versions of these open source projects supported in Oracle TopLink, Oracle WebLogic, and OracleAS.

Starting with the 11g (11.1.1.0.0) release of Oracle TopLink the EclipseLink project is shipped and supported. EclipseLink is the primary development target for persistence functionality within Oracle TopLink. Customers are encouraged to upgrade to using the EclipseLink library to leverage the most recent functionality.
