1. Introduction
---------------

This document provides pointers to information on installation of Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Configuration Change Console Release 5. The Configuration Change Console Installation Guide (hereafter referred to as "Installation Guide") contains detailed instructions on how to install and configure this product. 2. Installing Configuration Change Console Server
--------------------------------------------------

Please review and follow the instructions in Chapter 1 to Chapter 6 of the Installation Guide to install the Configuration Change Console Server. Please follow instructions in Chapter 15 for installing and configuration BI Publisher and Chapter 16 for installing and configuring Change Management Server integration.

3. Installing the Configuration Change Console Agent
-----------------------------------------------------

Note that the database and the Configuration Change Console Server (Section 2 above) must be installed and configured before the Configuration Change Console Agent is installed.

3.1 Configuration Change Console Agent Installation on Windows Platforms

Follow the instructions in Chapter 9 of the Installation Guide to install the Agent on Windows Platforms.

3.2 Configuration Change Console Agent Installation on UNIX Platforms

Follow the instructions in Chapter 10 of the Installation Guide to install the Agent on UNIX Platforms.

3.3 Configuration Change Console Agent Installation on OS/400

Follow the instructions in Chapter 11 of the Installation Guide to install the Agent on OS/400.

4. Restricted-Use Licensing
-----------------------------------------------------

Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Configuration Change Console Release 5 (10.2.0.5) Server includes restricted-use licenses for Oracle Database (Enterprise Edition), Oracle BEA Weblogic, and Oracle Business Intelligence, solely for the purpose of running Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Configuration Change Console Release 5 (10.2.0.5) Server.

4.1 Restricted-Use License for Oracle Database (Enterprise Edition)

Oracle includes restricted-use licenses for Oracle Database (Enterprise Edition) with licenses of Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Configuration Change Console Release 5 (10.2.0.5). If you desire to use the Oracle Database (Enterprise Edition) not solely for the purposes of running Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Configuration Change Console Release 5 (10.2.0.5) Server, you must purchase full-use licenses for Oracle Database (Enterprise Edition).

4.2 Restricted-Use License for Oracle BEA Weblogic

Oracle includes restricted-use licenses for Oracle BEA Weblogic with licenses of Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Configuration Change Console Release 5 (10.2.0.5). If you desire to use the Oracle BEA Weblogic not solely for the purposes of running Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Configuration Change Console Release 5 (10.2.0.5) Server, you must purchase full-use licenses for Oracle BEA Weblogic.

4.3 Restricted- Use License for Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher

Oracle includes restricted-use licenses for Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher with licenses of Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Configuration Change Console Release 5 (10.2.0.5). If you desire to use the Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher not solely for the purposes of reporting on the data within Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Configuration Change Console Release 5 (10.2.0.5) Server, you must purchase full-use licenses for Oracle Business Intelligence. You may use the restricted-use license to, (1) utilize out-of-box reports shipped with Configuration Change Console, (2) modify out-of-box report visualization and layouts, (3) add additional data to reports with Configuration Change Console repository as the sole source of additional data, (4) create new reports with Configuration Change Console repository as the sole source of data.

If you desire to use the Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher not solely for the purposes of reporting on the data within Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Configuration Change Console Release 5 (10.2.0.5) Server, you must purchase full-use licenses for Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher.
