Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center is a robust systems management offering that converges the management of servers, operating systems, hypervisors, virtual machines, storage, and network fabrics into a single console. It integrates into Enterprise Manager Cloud Control to offer a complete application to disk solution for Oracle customers. Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center manages the entire Oracle Solaris operating environment. It helps datacenters use Oracle Solaris to deliver a highly robust, scalable, and secure platform for  delivering mission-critical enterprise and ISV applications across multiple servers.  Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center will add the following new capability to manage Oracle Solaris 11 environment:

• Support for Image Packaging System (IPS) and Automated Installer (AI), and Alternate Boot Environments (BE)
• Improved Software Profiler
• Oracle Solaris Analytics, Oracle Solaris Management Facility (SMF), and Fault Management Architecture (FMA) Integration
• Management of NIC Level virtualization
• Improved Manageability of iSCSI and Fiber Channel Interfaces
• Increased Oracle Solaris Zone Management
• Increased coverage of Oracle Engineered Systems
• Full Coverage of both OVM SPARC and OVM x86
• Policy driven Pools for Oracle Solaris Zones plus OVM SPARC/x86
• Self Service and  Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Interface for Oracle Solaris Zones and OVM SPARC/x86
