JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 9.1.3
The Oracle VM Templates for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne provide a method to rapidly install JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 and Tools 9.1.3. The complete stack includes Oracle Database 11g R2 and Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.5 running on Oracle Linux 5. The templates can be installed to Oracle VM Server for x86 release 3.1 or later, to the Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud, and to the Oracle Database Appliance.
The configuration consists of the following Oracle VM templates:
The system is pretuned to accommodate up to 100 interactive users. Using standard, documented processes the system can be configured to accommodate higher loads. Customers should consult with hardware vendors for sizing recommendations. Functional and performance testing based on the customer’s intended use is always a recommended practice prior to production use.
The package also includes a specialized installation of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne deployment server. This component is not delivered as an Oracle VM template but installs similarly to a standard deployment server. The deployment server is required for any patching or custom development to the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system.
This release of the templates also provides a method to install the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne database to a nonvirtualized database server, such as Oracle Exadata or Oracle Database Appliance. This feature is useful when you want to use the preconfigured templates to deploy the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne logic and web tiers, but you intend the database to run on a server other than the preconfigured database VM.
If you intend to use the Oracle VM Templates for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne in production use:
