Introduction

This quick start guide provides an overview of how to set up a Sun Storage 7000 Unified Storage System to use CommVault Simpana Data Archiver (DA) with the Common Internet File System (CIFS) protocol. This scenario used a Sun Storage 7110 Unified Storage System and a Sun Fire X4140 server running Microsoft Window Server 2003.
