This paper describes the installation of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 on a Sun Fire X4500 Server and the steps that are necessary to obtain usable file systems. Installing Microsoft Windows on a server that has 48 internal hard drives and no built-in CD-ROM drive or floppy drive presents certain challenges, but is very achievable using these steps.
