Introduction

This paper discusses how to quickly configure and deploy the Sun Fire X4540 server with Zmanda Recovery Manager 2.2 for MySQL databases. This guide provides examples for configuring a zpool and ZFS file system on the Solaris OS and installing Zmanda Recovery Manager to utilize the Sun Fire X4540 server for backup and recovery of MySQL databases.
