Transport Mechanism Overview
The Hi-Track system consists of a Hi-Track SVP agent which is installed on the device at the customer site. The Hi-Track SVP agent can transport the data from the device to the Hi-Track Center either by dial up via a modem and phone line, or by FTP via the public internet.

Transport Mechanism Overview
Service Delivery Platform (SDP): A support solution (via an appliance) that can be implemented to provide auto service request and remote diagnostic and remediation for many Sun StorageTek storage devices. Supported devices with SDP include:
