We have identified a problem that has the potential to lead to a security vulnerability in certain versions of BEA WebLogic Server and Express on all platforms. A service pack is available to correct this problem (see section II below). BEA treats such possibilities with the highest degree of urgency and does everything possible to ensure the security of all customer assets. As a result, we strongly suggest the following action:

Recently, a potential security vulnerability in BEA WebLogic Server and Express was reported that could result in the ability for unauthorized RMI clients to modify the administrative configuration of your server.
The following BEA WebLogic Server and Express releases are affected by this vulnerability:
