Hyperion
Users Groups (HUGs) North America
The North America HUGs are now aligning with the
Oracle
Applications Users Group (OAUG). Earlier this
year, Ed DeLise, an active Hyperion user, helped
OAUG create the Hyperion
Special Interest Group (SIG). The Hyperion
SIG hosted their first meeting during Oracle OpenWorld
2007 and supported the strong Hyperion track at
the Collaborate Users Group Conference in Denver
last April. The Hyperion SIG is planning activities
for Oracle OpenWorld 2008 and looks forward to
a strong presence at Collaborate 2009. For more
information about the OAUG Hyperion SIG and how
to align, please contact Regina Robuck (rrobuck@oaug.com)
at OAUG headquarters!
On
the Technology Side….
If you are a DBA or developer using Hyperion
products you have the opportunity to become involved
and interface with great people using Hyperion
products around the world!

ODTUG is an independent not-for-profit
global organization providing education, support,
advocacy and networking opportunities for
all Oracle database developers using a variety
of technologies. ODTUG’s 18,000 members design
applications, model data, write code, manage
application systems, maintain legacy code
and are key to the middle-tier technology
in Oracle Fusion. The ODTUG Board of Directors
recently added two members to represent the
Hyperion community in the organization. Their
annual conference, ODTUG Kaleidoscope, includes
a robust track for Hyperion Essbase users.

The new IOUG Essbase Special Interest Group
