Driver Conformance Levels

ODBC defines conformance levels for drivers in two areas:

  • ODBC application programming interface (API)

  • ODBC SQL-99 syntax.

The Oracle8 ODBC Driver supports all core API functionality and a limited set of Level 1 and Level 2 functionality. See API conformance for more information.

The Oracle8 ODBC Driver is broadly compatible with the SQL-99 Core specification which is a superset of the SQL-92 Entry Level specification. Applications should call SQLGetInfo with the appropriate information type to retrieve a list of SQL-99 supported features.
