Failover and Failback back - not operableback | 1 2 3 4 5 6 | nextnext
Overview
High availability is provided through an operation called failover. This operation ensures that resources running on a node that becomes unavailable will be taken over by another node.

After the unavailable node comes back online, resources can be returned to their original node through an operation called failback.

Related resources fail over and fail back as a unit called a group. Groups are discussed in detail in the next lesson.
