Oracle Universal Installer for OracleAS TopLink provides
four different installation types. The installation types refer to a predefined
component set within Oracle Universal Installer that automatically selects which
components to install. The installation types that appear in Oracle Universal
Installer screen depend on the list that the installation developer specified
for this particular product.
Complete
This option installs the entire product, including run-time classes, development
tools, including OracleAS TopLink Mapping Workbench, and OracleAS TopLink
examples.
Foundation with Mapping Workbench
This enables the deployment of enterprise portals and wireless applications.
It includes all Oracle Application Server 10g components available in the J2EE and
Web Cache instal type.
Foundation This option installs run-time classes and development tools.
Runtime This option installs only the packaged run-time classes.
