Oracle by Example - Oracle Business Intelligence Beans

Develop Business Intelligence Applications using OracleBI Beans

BI Beans objects, such as crosstabs, graphs, and queries, may be incorporated into both HTML-client and Java-client applications. In HTML-client applications, users work in their preferred browser, and Java does not run on their machines. In Java-client applications, the application runs on the user's machine.

HTML-client applications save valuable bandwidth on users' machines, while providing full-featured applications. You can create JSP or UIX applications to run as HTML clients.

Java-client applications are best for users who spend their time analyzing past business performance or developing forecasts of future performance. Such users need a highly interactive environment.

In this focus area of Oracle by Example lessons, you learn how to create BI Beans JSP applications and BI Beans Java-client applications using the business intelligence objects that were created in the Develop Business Intelligence Objects using OracleBI Beans focus area.
