An Oracle Files domain is created during the Oracle Collaboration Suite Mid Tier installation process. An Oralce Files domain has one Subscriber. An Oracle Files Subscriber is used to contain the users for a specific organization. You need to create a Subscriber before you can create users in Oracle Files. Each Subscriber has a Subscriber administrator. Once a Subscriber is created, you then specify synchronization frequency of Oracle Files and Oracle Internet Directory. Oracle Files will then automatically synchronize its user list with Oracle Internenet Directory and create or delete Oracle Files users as appropriate.
