Configuring the Oracle Mail Store
This lesson demonstrates how to configure the Oracle Mail
Store.

When you configure the mail store, the configuration script
performs the following steps:
Creates tablespaces for the mail schema
Creates mail tables and indexes
Loads mail related PL/SQL packages
Loads mail related stored java procedures
Configures the mail store with Oracle Internet Directory

In order for this lesson to work successfully, you will need
to have performed the following:

To configure the Oracle Mail Store, perform the following:
Open a prompt and execute $ORACLE_HOME/oes/bin/umconfig.sh
&
Select Mail Store Database Configuration and
click Next.
Enter your database hostname, SID, port (1521 is default),
and System password and click Next .
Enter a password for CTXSYS and click Next.
Enter a password and confirm password for ES_MAIL
and click Next.
Enter a password and confirm password for UMADMIN
and click Next.
Enter your domain name and click Next .
At the Summary screen, click Next .
The Configuration Assistant will run.
When install successfully completes, click Exit .
