The user will access all Oracle Collaboration Suite applications through single sign-on, thus the user will need an Oracle Internet Directory (OID) account. Except for Mail, Files, and Calendar, all other Collaboration Suite applications directly use the OID account. To provision a new user, the following user accounts need to be created: OID, Mail, Calendar, and Files.

While OID, Mail, and Calendar accounts need to be created manually, the Files account is automatically created once the OID account is created.
