Using Oracle OLAP 11g With Oracle BI Enterprise Edition

The Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition Plus ( BI EE) is a comprehensive suite of enterprise BI products, delivering the full range of BI capabilities including interactive dashboards, full ad hoc analysis, proactive intelligence and alerts, enterprise and financial reporting, real-time predictive intelligence, disconnected analytics, and more.

Oracle OLAP 11g data is accessible to BI EE by creating the required metadata in the Oracle BI Administration Tool. The OLAP data is delivered to the BI EE product stack, and the OLAP calculation engine is automatically leveraged for analysis of that data.
