Transparently Collect and Consolidate Audit Data

Businesses need to consolidate, manage, monitor and report on audit data for a complete view of enterprise data access. IT security and audit personnel must have the ability to analyze audit data in a timely fashion across disparate systems. Oracle Audit Vault addresses this requirement by consolidating audit data from both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases into a secure, scalable, and highly available repository.

Oracle Audit Vault collects database audit data from all Oracle audit sources including database audit tables, database audit files on the operating system, and database transaction logs to capture before/after value changes of transactions. Oracle Audit Vault 10.2.3 supports collecting audit data from Oracle9i Database Release 2, Oracle Database 10g Release 1, Oracle Database 10g Release 2, Oracle Database 11g, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005, IBM DB2 UDB 8.2 and 9.5, and Sybase ASE 12.5 and 15.0.
