Sample Schemas for 10.2.0.3

The Oracle OLAP documentation and the training materials for Oracle Database 10g, Release 2 (10.2.0.3), use a new version of the Global schema. Oracle OLAP Application Developer's Guide also has examples that use modifications of the Sales History schema.

Downloading the Global Sample Schema for 10.2.0.3

For 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.3), the examples in the Oracle OLAP documentation and the training materials for Oracle OLAP use the same version of the Global schema. This version is different from versions used in previous releases.

Note: If you have installed a previous version of the Global schema in your Oracle Database instance, then you should remove that Global schema before installing the Global schema for 10.2.0.3.

To download the 10.2.0.3 version of the Global schema, select Global_Schema_10203.zip.

Downloading the Sales History Modifications for 10.2.0.3

The Sales History schema is part of the Oracle Database Sample Schema set of schemas. Oracle OLAP Application Developer's Guide for 10.2.0.3 has some examples that use modifications of the Sales History schema.

The scripts that modify the Sales History schema are accompanied by an XML template that was generated by Analytic Workspace Manager. The template is an XML representation of the structure of an analytic workspace that is based on the Sales History schema.
