| As
a BI Administrator you understand the business requirements that
govern design, development, and implementation of your data warehouse.
You have a solid knowledge
of SQL/PL*SQL, query, database, and data warehouse optimization
and configuration. You determine strategies, including indexing,
space management, or creating database/materialized views, to leverage
the capabilities of the database and data warehouse.
You continually rise
to the challenge of ensuring availability of services, which take
advantage of your optimized design to provide peak performance and
service to your customers.
You are responsible for
and highly skilled at physical data modeling, including multidimensional
data modeling, and production and performance tuning of the Enterprise
Data Warehouse environment. You regularly interact with various
members of both BI development and data warehousing teams, including
Data Warehouse Analysts, Business Users, and BI Developers.
You are always engaged
in performance monitoring and support, problem resolution, ensuring
data integrity, and so forth.
