Installing Oracle Calendar Sync for Palm on Your Mobile Device

If you already have Calendar Sync software installed on your computer and you have data stored in Palm Desktop, you need to install Oracle Calendar Sync for Palm on your mobile device.

  1. From your desktop computer, start the HotSync Manager (a Palm Desktop process that synchronizes the data on your personal digital assistant and computer).
  2. From the HotSync menu on your desktop, select Install Handheld Files.
  3. Select the user from the User list in the Install Handheld Files dialog box.
  4. Click Add To List.

  5. From the Applications menu, select Palm, then Add-on.
  6. Click Oracle Calendar Sync.prc.

  7. Click Add file.
    The file is added to the list
  8. Close the Install Handheld Files dialog box.
  9. Connect your Palm device to your computer.
  10. From your device, initiate synchronization.
    Oracle Calendar Sync for Palm is automatically installed on your device. Following a first synchronization, a new application called Oracle Setup appears on your device.

    Note: Before you perform a synchronization, make sure you are not signed in to the Oracle Calendar desktop client.
