Oracle Calendar Sync synchronizes your Oracle Calendar data with your Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) using either Palm Desktop for Windows or Macintosh, or Microsoft ActiveSync. This lets you download meetings, contacts, daily notes, day events, holidays, and tasks to your PDA. You can make updates and then upload them back to the Oracle Calendar server through your device’s synchronization process. This takes PDA functionality one step further, allowing direct synchronization with your data in the calendar repository rather than the data on your desktop.
Rather than go through your desktop application, Oracle Calendar Sync links a conduit directly to the calendar repository. The Oracle Calendar Sync Preferences menu lets you customize the amount of information you want synchronized, including downloading attendee lists and meeting details.
