Installing Oracle Calendar Sync for Pocket PC

Setting up an ActiveSync Partnership

1. Synchronize your device.
2. The ActiveSync Partnership wizard starts.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to create a new ActiveSync Partnership.
4. From the three lists, select Oracle Calendar as your personal information manager for the Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks conduits.
   
   
   
   
5. Open Microsoft ActiveSync if it does not open automatically.
6. Click Sync if synchronization is not automatically initiated.
   The first time you synchronize, a full synchronization occurs.
7. From the Microsoft ActiveSync dialog box, click Options.
   
   
   
   
8. Select the Schedule tab in the Options dialog box.
9. Select when you want ActiveSync to synchronize information between the mobile device and the desktop computer. The three options are:

• Continuously while the device is connected
• Only upon connection
• Manually
  
  Oracle Calendar Sync for Pocket PC supports all three desktop scheduling modes, but Oracle recommends choosing Manually if you want to control when synchronization occurs.
