You can connect to the Oracle Content Services Web user interface directly or through the Oracle Collaboration Suite portal.
To connect to the Oracle Content Services through the Oracle Collaboration Suite portal, follow these steps:
- Open the Oracle Collaboration Suite portal.
- Sign in using your Oracle Collaboration Suite user name and password.
- In the portal page, under Links, click Content Services.
To connect to the Oracle Content Services Web user interface directly:
- Open the Oracle Content Services URL; this is typically the same as the Oracle Collaboration Suite portal URL appended with "content" instead of "welcome", such as:
http://your-collabsuite-domain-name.com/content
If you do not know the Oracle Collaboration Suite portal URL, ask your administrator. - Click the appropriate Launch button:
- Launch: Starts the Oracle Content Services Web user interface in standard mode.
- Accessibility Mode: Starts the Oracle Content Services Web user interface in a mode specifically designed for screen readers.
- Sign on using your Oracle Collaboration Suite credentials.
When you sign in to Oracle Content Services for the first time, the Welcome page appears. On this page, you can customize the way you work with Oracle Content Services.
When logging in for the first time, you can set the following preferences on the Welcome page:
- The maximum number of files to list as your most recently accessed files
- How often you want to be prompted for your single sign-on password when using a WebDAV client
- Your FTP password
