Distribution lists are a useful way to disseminate information to groups of people, foster discussion on specific topics, and manage collaborative projects using e-mail. When you send a message to a distribution list, the message is sent to everyone who subscribes to the list, and you receive all the messages other subscribers send to the list.
Oracle Mail provides two different kinds of e-mail distribution lists: personal distribution lists and public distribution lists.
