You can create folders in which to store your incoming messages. You can create as many folders as you need, and organize them into hierarchies by creating subfolders within other folders. For example, you can put messages that you need to reply to today in one folder, messages from your boss in another folder named Boss, and messages about a particular client in a third folder. You can move messages to different folders, as necessary, at any time. You can also change the names of folders, easily, and delete folders at any time.
The easiest way to create folders with Oracle Mail is to use Oracle WebMail. You can also create folders using e-mail clients such as Eudora, Mozilla, or Outlook. These local e-mail clients may also let you create folders on your computer to organize downloaded messages.
You can share any of the folders you own with other Oracle Mail users, and other users can share their folders with you. Sharing a folder lets other users access messages sent to you. You might want to do this, for example, if you and a coworker are collaborating on a project, and you receive many e-mail messages related to this project that your coworker should read. You can also modify or revoke privileges for folders you are already sharing.
