Using Oracle WebMail, you can create an unlimited number of personal distribution lists. This type of distribution list is a list of e-mail addresses grouped under one name or alias. A personal distribution list can contain aliases, e-mail addresses, and other distribution lists.
Personal distribution lists are created by you, and can be used only by you or those to whom you have granted access to your contacts list. You can add any address from your contacts or the corporate address book into your personal distribution lists. Personal distribution lists are very useful when you need to send messages to the same group of people frequently. Entering the distribution list name in the To field of a message automatically sends the message to the e-mail addresses in the list.
