Why is some text displayed in a different language?
A few text strings in the Discussions Web client are displayed in the Discussions server locale instead of your client locale. The server locale is the language used on the computer where Oracle Discussions is installed. The client locale is the language used on your computer. Some examples of text that is displayed in the server locale instead of the client locale are the reply prefix (for example, RE) when you reply to a message within a forum, and some text on the Discussions Topics page.

Why do I get an error when I select a topic from my Favorites?
The topic may have been moved or deleted. Favorites are cached on your computer while you are logged in to Oracle Discussions. Attempting to select a Favorite topic that was moved or deleted results in an error but it also refreshes your list of Favorites.
