Bug Fixed since Oracle SQL Developer 1.2 was released on 07 June 2007. (This includes updates to 1.2.1.32.00)

This list is not all-inclusive. It includes higher priority bugs and those reported by the community. This patch is focused on the new Migration Workbench feature included in SQL Developer 1.2.

  • Bug 5647297 - SQL Developer1.1: NLS: snippets ->edit mb chars show as garbage
  • Bug 6156848 - privileges not being saved correctly (if username in mixed case)
  • Bug 6165235 - delete a connection, closes all open tabs for unrelated connections

• Bug 5376210 - table edit, DDL fails for creating foreign key between tables with names in quotes

  • Bug 6018513 - If BLOB column is mandatory, insert into row fails on commit
  • Bug 5996601 - new inserted records comes above the records list in the data tab, should be below
  • Bug 6313692 - single record window for a record with CLOB, throws wide window and disappears
  • Bug 6033768 - data not displayed in the data tab of the table always

  • Bug 6254736: Clob datatype in table grid fetches the whole clob

  • Bug 5933688 - export table data to XLS file should use default font, or other languages fail
  • Bug 6026185 - tools > export DDL - errors if select all object types - PLEASE NOTE: Export only fails if invalid external tables present.
  • Bug 6279410 - default file name contains quotes - file cannot be saved on Windows
  • Bug 5847984 - duplicate entries for indexes, when selecting specific items


• SQL Worksheet
• Bug 6085032 - multiple connections opened and closed, open another connection & closed reopen
• Bug 6132635 - column header double click for auto size sorts the column, should resize
• Bug 6116313 - each time you open the single record view, it's wider than the previous time
• Bug 6021244 - open a file in SQL worksheet, then open another file - file name still the same
• Bug 5617924 - table > data - could not sort by data
• Bug 6314230 - DESC does not work in subscripts i.e. @runthisfile.sql
• Filter field in the data editor was getting cleared (but the underlying table wasn't reset) when a second viewer was opened.
