product logo Oracle SQL Developer - Extensions Exchange

Oracle SQL Developer was first released in production in March 2006. The latest release is Oracle SQL Developer 1.5.5 and is available for download from OTN

SQL Developer was developed in Java leveraging the Oracle JDeveloper IDE (Fusion Client Platform). As such, users can write their own extensions to add functionality specific to their requirements.

Creating your own

We invite you to contribute to this exchange by sharing your own SQL Developer extensions. Please post an entry on the discussion forum, or contact sue.harper@oracle.com, if you'd like to upload your extension on this page. We now also include extensions in the SQL Developer Check For Updates facility. Let us know if you want your extension added there.

Available Extensions

Some extensions for earlier releases work in SQL Developer 1.5, but not all of them do. If the extension you use is no longer working with SQL Developer 1.5, contact the developer, using the Forum, and let them know.

This page lists the latest extensions available for each of the releases:

Note: Extensions listed under 1.1, should work under 1.2. and 1.2.1. For each extension, go to the URL given for details on how to install it.
