Unified Messaging to access email, fax and voice messages through

phone, web, standards-based client, or wireless device.
Oracle9iAS Unified Messaging can be integrated
with other pieces of Oracle9i Application
Server
for directory services, to provide single-sign on and provide portal
access to messages. Oracle9iAS
Unified Messaging includes a customizable thin client that enables
users to access their messages
through a web browser; an integrated IVR telephone client; inbound
fax; server side rules; enhanced
administration features such as monitoring charts and a virus cleanup
tool; and PL/SQL and Java
interfaces to email-enable mission critical applications.
