System Requirements

The following are the recommended and minimum requirements to use and install the Oracle Application Server (OracleAS) Site Indexing (SIP) Portlet.

OracleAS Portal Version 9.0.2.x, 9.0.4.x, 10.1.2.x
Portal Developer Kit (PDK) 9.0.2 (January, 2003 PDK release) or later or 9.0.4.1
Browsers Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5+
Netscape 7.0+
Mozilla 1.5+

Installation

Follow the instructions within the Oracle Application Server Site Index Portlet - Installation Instructions document.

"NOTE: This portlet is a sample released for test, evaluation, and education purposes.  It is not supported through formal Oracle Support mechanisms. We are, however, very interested in receiving your feedback on this portlet. Please post any suggestions, questions, or issues to the Portal Developer Kit (PDK) Site Index Portlet and we will respond as quickly as possible".
 

What's New

  • Certified against Oracle Application Server Portal Developer Kit (PDK) version 9.0.4.1.

Known Issues

  • SIP is NLS compliant, but currently does not have translated strings other than for English (US). If required, the translation can be made as suggested in the ptlnlsi.sql script.
