Java Coding Challenge

Get a chance to win great prizes in the Java Code Challenge.
You'll get a task to develop a simple J2EE based application - the first one to finish the task wins a Dell Axiom PDA. Everyone else who finishes the application in the given time frame gets a chance at winning MP3 players and other prizes.

Go through the JDeveloper tutorials, and focus on building a Web interface and Swing interface for database tables. Then see how to build a Web service and how to consume it from a Web application.

Install Fest

Get the software you need for SOA development installed on your machine. Bring in your laptop and we'll provide you with the software and instructions to install JDeveloper, OC4J, TopLink, and Oracle BPEL Process Manager.
