The Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control Partner Initiative provides an avenue for our partners to extend their solution onto the Enterprise Manager framework. Our partners work with Oracle to improve the monitoring and manageability of their product in the Oracle environment. Our users ultimately benefit from this extended management functionality for their diverse environment.

Interested in joining the Partner Initiative and building extensions to Enterprise Manager?
To work with the Oracle Enterprise Manager team and have your extension listed on OTN, please:
- be an Oracle PartnerNetwork member in good standing;
- be accepted into the Oracle Enterprise Manager Product Focus on OPN;
- have a Solutions Catalog profile that references your Oracle Enterprise Manager based solution;
- link from your solutions page on your company's website to the Oracle Enterprise Manager page on Oracle's website;
- have a solution described in your application that adds objectively added value to Oracle Enterprise Manager;

Partner developed extentions will be posted or linked to on the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) Enterprise Manager Extensions Exchange, for distribution to the Enterprise Manager user community.

Once accepted, you will be solely responsible for distributing your solution to end users and for providing technical support for your solution to your end users. Oracle will not distribute any partner solutions to end users and Oracle will not provide technical support for any partner solutions. Questions received from end users regarding your solution will be referred to you. As set forth in your Oracle PartnerNetwork Agreement, Oracle's website (including the Oracle PartnerNetwork Solutions Catalog) provides links to third-party websites and access to products and services from third parties that are not under the control or operation of Oracle; however, Oracle is not responsible for the availability of and content provided on such third party websites. Moreover, Oracle does not endorse and is not responsible for (a) the contents of any linked site or any site linked to from a linked site; (b) the quality of any third party products or services, including but not limited to any secure connectors that are developed in accordance with this initiative; (c) fulfilling the terms of any agreement to purchase third party products or services, including but not limited to any secure connectors developed in accordance with this initiative, including delivery of products and services and warranty obligations related to purchased products or services; (d) any loss or damages of any sort that an end user may incur from dealing with any such third party or its products or services. You must promptly notify Oracle by sending an email to submit-search_us@oracle.com if you are no longer promoting or distributing a solution that has been included on the OTN site and Oracle will delete the listing from OTN.

How much does it cost?
Becoming an Enterprise Manager partner or developing an extension for Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control is free of cost. However, membership in the Oracle Partner Network (OPN), for which there is a fee, is required to join the Enterprise Manager Partner Initiative.

Do I need to participate in the Enterprise Manager Partner Initiative to develop and distribute plug-ins on OTN?
Oracle customers may develop and publish links to their freeware plug-in solution on OTN without membership in the Enterprise Manager Partner Initiative. We encourage Grid Control users to submit their custom developed plug-ins.

What do I do to publish my Extension on the Oracle Technology Network (OTN)?
Let us know about your extension and we will contact you to help you link to it on OTN. All plug-ins must first be self-tested and reviewed by Oracle to ensure proper functionality with Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control.
