In this section you will
learn how easy it is for a valid user to get a certificate which can
be used to log into your web applications.
There are three ways for
a user to obtain a certificate.
Using your Oracle AS Single
Sign-on Credentials
Using an existing certificate
Using Manual Approval/Authentication
In this lesson we will learn
how to issue a certificate "Using your Oracle AS Single Sign-on
Credentials"
This method of obtaining
a user certificate requires you to already have a valid user account
in the Oracle Application Server.
Navigate to the following URL:
https://host.domain.com:4400/oca/user
You should see a page that looks like this.

Select the "User Certificates" tab. The next page should
look like this.

Select "Use Your OracleAS Single sign-on name and password",
then click on the "Submit" button.
On the page that follows, enter your OracleAS user credentials.

On the page that follows click on the "Get Certificate" button.

On the next page select a certificate key size you want, then click
on the "Submit" button.

Immediately after clicking the submit button you will be asked to enter
a password for your new certificate.

After entering a password for your certificate, your new user certificate
should immediately be issued. Click on the "Import to Browser"
button and your new certificate will be ready to use.
