Oracle Rdb Status and Direction

This presentation will describe the engineering activities of the Oracle Rdb development group and will help you understand the strategic direction that Oracle plans for further development of the Rdb family of products. This overview will help you put the remaining presentations in better perspective. The presentation will describe the successful use of Rdb and CODASYL DBMS by a number of important customers so you will understand how others use the product. It will provide information about our plans for future releases of Rdb beyond version 7.1 including a roadmap describing the schedule for Rdb releases.
