Accessing an Oracle Server Database Using Oracle Rdb External Functions

Oracle Rdb external functions can be used to attach to and access a database. This talk explains how to use external functions to access an Oracle Server database. It includes a demonstration of a set of external functions implemented as a shared library written using Pro*C. It also includes discussion of such considerations as reconciling data types.
