Oracle PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 and PeopleTools 8.50.02 (64-bit only)

This virtual deployment package delivers a "quick start" of PeopleSoft HCM with Oracle Database on Oracle Enterprise Linux. By using the templates, a PeopleSoft demo environment can be brought up and running quickly. The templates are pre-configured for demo and other non-production purposes only. Please refer to the install guide and bookshelf for configuring PeopleSoft and Oracle database for production use.

Oracle VM template for Oracle PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 and PeopleTools 8.50.02:

  • The template consists of three virtual machines: Oracle Database with PeopleSoft HCM instance, Tuxedo stack, Weblogic stack
  • The database VM includes Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.2 (64-bit) and Oracle Database 11.1.0.6 with PeopleSoft demo data
  • The PeopleSoft Apps VM includes Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.2 (64-bit), Oracle Tuxedo 10gR3
  • The PeopleSoft Web VM includes Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.2 (64-bit), Oracle Weblogic 11g

  • Review the Installation Guide before downloading the template; or you can refer to My Oracle Support note 950875.1
  • Download the Oracle VM Template for PeopleSoft HCM (see Oracle E-Delivery Instructions below)

For support: If you have any issues, please check the Wiki and discussion forums first. Someone may have already resolved a issue similar to yours, and your posted issue will help the community.
1.    If you have no product licenses
Your only support option is in the community, based on the Wiki and discussion forums.

2.    If you only have a PeopleSoft HCM license
You can call your normal support number or raise an SR through My Oracle Support, but if you or the PeopleSoft GSC analyst determine the issue is with the Oracle DB or Oracle Enterprise Linux or Oracle VM, your only support option is in the community, based on the Wiki and discussion forums.

3.    If you only have an Oracle DB license
You can call your normal support number or raise an SR through My Oracle Support, but if you or the Oracle DB analyst determine the issue is with the PeopleSoft HCM or Oracle Enterprise Linux or Oracle VM, your only support option is in the community, based on the Wiki and discussion forums.

4.    If you only have an Oracle VM and/or Oracle Enterprise Linux license
You can call your normal support number or raise an SR through My Oracle Support, but if you or the Oracle Linux analyst determine the issue is with the PeopleSoft HCM or Oracle DB, your only support option is in the community, based on the Wiki and discussion forums.

5.    If you have licensed PeopleSoft HCM, Oracle DB and Oracle Enterprise/Oracle VM, then Oracle support will manage the Service Request, no matter whatever support number you normally call.

    Oracle E-Delivery Instructions:
    Visit http://edelivery.oracle.com/oraclevm
    Complete your registration information (Name, Company Name, Email Address and Country) and click on the download agreement
    Select "Oracle VM Templates" from the "Select a Product Pack" pull-down menu
    Select "x86 64 bit" from the "Platform" pull-down menu
    Click "Go" and then select from the list of Oracle VM Templates
    Download and unzip the files and read the readme

    For large downloads, or for functionality such as download resuming, the use of a download manager is highly recommended.
