This session covers more advanced ETL capabilities Warehouse Builder provides. Use this session if you already know the basic concepts of design data flows, and you want to learn more about partition exchange loading, extraction from SAP, loading from and into queues, etc.

Objectives
Know the different operating modes and what they stand for.
Understand the different code generation options.
Know what is correlated commmit and how it can help design a mapping for restartability (this feature is not available in Warehouse Builder 9.0.4).
Know about some design characteristics in Warehouse Builder with respect to the different operating modes.
Learn about Warehouse Builder's support for Partition Exchange Loading (PEL).
Be able to use SAP as a source and generate ABAP code.
Know how to use Advanced Queues as source and target using Warehouse Builder.
Know about Warehouse Builder's XML load capabilities.
Pre-requisites

Know the basics of Warehouse Builder's mapping paradigm.

Be familiar with the Warehouse Builder console tree.
Know about the database's support for ETL functions and capabilities.
