Description
Oracle has released a one-off-patch that fixes wsdl issues encountered
by Oracle WSM customers who applied Oracle Application Server 10g
Release 3 (10.1.3) Patch Set 10.1.3.3. This patch is required if both
of the following conditions are true: 1) Your Web service clients
invoke Web services that are virtualized by an Oracle WSM Gateway, and
2) The Web service WSDL imports other WSDLs or schema definitions
(XSD).
Issue:
In Oracle WSM 10.1.3.1, the Oracle WSM Gateway did not
correctly resolve import statements in Web service WSDLs that import
other WSDLs or XSD locations. The workaround was to copy the imported
WSDL and XSD files locally into the file system where the Oracle WSM
Gateway was deployed. Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3)
Patch Set
10.1.3.3 provided an enhancement to the Oracle WSM Gateway that
corrected this problem. But it introduced other issues (Bugs 6623390,
6615733)
for which this one-off-patch is being generated.
