Oracle Text API Code Samples for Oracle9i

These code samples cover every aspect of the Oracle Text API with a simple, self-contained example for each feature. They are intended as a reference for programmers who are already familiar with Oracle Text concepts and API structure.

You can access the code samples directly here. They form part of the environment for the Instructor Lead Training. The whole of that environment may be downloaded.

The material is organized as small files of runable code, mainly to be run at SQL*Plus but sometimes to be run at the command line. These are thus plain text files with extensions like .sql and .sh. Typically you run several files in sequence to illustrate a given feature. Each such sequence is accessed via links from an HTML page which provides further explanation where appropriate. These HTML pages are accessed via an easy-to-navigate tree organized by product functionality.
