This sample application (Indagine) uses interMedia text features to crawl, index, and search content stored on HTTP servers. It includes a web-based interface and a set of code samples.

Installing the Sample Application

• Download the Solaris kit (1.4MB)
  
  
• Download the NT kit (180KB)
  
  
• Refer to the Install Guide for requirements and installation details

Using the Sample Application

• Enter the name of the target web site and the URL to be indexed.
  
  
• Click the OK button. The target Web site is crawled and indexed. The user notified upon completion
  
  
• HTML code is generated and linked to a text search box. Include this on any web page to enable searches using the full capabilites of interMedia text services.
